Boarding & Agistment at the Merrimac Alpacas B&B
Merrimac Alpacas is a full service, full time ranch. At Merrimac, your alpacas will receive all the TLC and attention that you would give them whether they are with us for a short or long term stay. We are very "hands on" and the alpacas here all get daily attention. Our feeding program is fully integrated with feed that is specially developed for alpacas in our area and quality orchard grass hay. Add to that our lush pastures and big comfy barn for shelter and birthing and you have the perfect B&B for your alpacas.
Our vets specialize in the treatment and care of camelids and we are minutes from a full service veterinary hospital. We offer our boarding clients discounted herdsire services for their females and crias board for free up to 3 months of age with their mothers. Routine care such as toenail trimming is included.
Charges for any special or critical care are determined on a case by case basis if needed. Veterinary charges are billed directly to client.

Birthing
Each year, we are able to take in a limited number of pregnant females for birthing. We have attended many births and are happy to take care of your girls for you if you aren't able to for whatever reason.
